On September 25th, the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) team — composed of Prof. Sara Greco, Dr. Claudia Coppola, and Costanza Lucchini — took part in the 5th European Conference on Argumentation held at the Warsaw University of Technology.

The team presented a paper entitled “How dispute mediators respond to parties’ accusations: semantic-pragmatic analysis and argumentative implications,” which explored the results of a linguistic and argumentative analysis of the act of accusation in mediation contexts.

This research contributes directly to the ORBIS project, as it supports the ongoing collaboration between USI, The Open University, and Politecnico di Milano in developing tools for conflict prevention within online deliberative democracy discussions.
